Working on the weekend

A busy week this week. Kicked off the week with a complete re-write of the introductory chapter of my PhD Thesis: Sense of place, engagement with heritage and ecomuseum potential in the North Pennines. Had to go back to the books so I could include a short section giving something of the history of the region, which in the final stages of the PhD process, was really enjoyable. At home in the early part of the week redrafting Chapter Two which focusses on the theoretical context for the research. Then back to work on Thursday, busy preparing for a workshop that I then delivered at a youth centre in Nelson. The participants are developing plans for the redevelopment of an outdoor space and we looked at different ways of consulting the community about the proposed changes. Quite a bit I want to get done over the weekend.... and writing this could well be a displacement activity!
